Success stories | User List | Test Drive PlantWeb

Test Drive PlantWeb shows how PlantWeb field-based architecture drives down capital and engineering costs related to instrumentation and control.

While the current Test Drive PlantWeb models specifically support pulp and paper, oil and gas and bulk chemical/petrochemical industries, the chemical/petrochemical industry model most closely resembles other processes such as the Power industry. The Test Drive PlantWeb interface shows typical project engineering and startup savings and how PlantWeb creates them vs. traditional DCS architectures.

You can change the inputs in this model--labor rates or wire length, for example--to see how PlantWeb cuts costs as the variables change. As you make adjustments to your virtual project, Test Drive PlantWeb will continuously recalculate your savings. These customized savings will NOT be saved, however, for future visits to this site.
